On the 9th, Baek
Gun-gi,
Mayor of Yongin,
presented certificates recognizing 13 local SMEs for
their active efforts in job creation at City Hall.
The companies selected as “Outstanding
Job-Creating Enterprises of Yongin” include: DSTech
Co., Ltd., NFive
Co., Ltd., OSYMed
Co., Ltd., Willings
Co., Ltd., Mantech
Co., Ltd., Hot&Cool
Inc., Yaksa
& Health Co., Ltd., SNG Biotech Co., Ltd., DECO Energy Co., Ltd., AltoChem
Co., Ltd., Intech
FA Co., Ltd., Taejong FD
Co., Ltd., and Daeshin
Environmental Technology Co., Ltd.
The city awarded these companies both
certificates and plaques of recognition. For the next two years, they will also
receive various incentives, such as extra points when applying for
city-supported programs
(e.g., overseas market development delegations and international exhibitions)
and priority
participation in business support projects. The initiative aims to create a
virtuous cycle of job creation by identifying SMEs that are proactive in
employment growth and workplace improvement, and providing them with
administrative and financial incentives that encourage further hiring.
The city had solicited applications for
the program in November of last year, evaluating applicants in detail based on
employment growth, working conditions, and workplace environment to select the
outstanding enterprises.
Mayor Baek commented, “Creating
quality jobs is not only a responsibility of the government but must also begin
with the active participation of businesses. Yongin
City will continue to actively support companies so that management
improvements can lead directly to job creation.”
